Trinity Preparatory School's third annual Author Festival will take place on Friday, Feb. 9 from 3 - 6 p.m. in the Trinity Prep Library. The event is FREE and open to the public. Last year's event boasted 14 YA and Middle Grade authors and 300 attendees. This year's festival is shaping up to be even bigger and better with 22 YA and Middle Grade authors. Event planners, Reba Gordon, librarian, and English 8 & YA Lit Teacher, Georgia Parker, have book signings scheduled, as well as several panels in which authors will discuss their writing process, the path to publication, character development, dealing with issues kids face today, and the importance of reading.
