Today we are releasing the 2019–2020 school-year calendar. As you look through the calendar, you will note that there are a few events that have moved. This past fall, the school calendar committee met to discuss the possibility of moving graduation, and/or final exams before Memorial Day. In consultation with members of the Board of Trustees, we have adopted this principle for generating the upcoming school calendar, and thus, you will note that in 2020, graduation will occur before Memorial Day. Due to a number of complicated factors, we are unable to move final exams before Memorial Day during the 2019–2020 school year. As always, we address the school calendar every year. Moving forward, if it is possible to move both exams and graduation before Memorial Day, we will try to do so. We expect that this change will benefit the entire community in terms of vacation and summer breaks and further increase the uniqueness of the senior year.
