The first Parent Information & Educational Series: Tips for Parents was held on Thursday, August 27. We would like to thank our panelists, Bridget Hawley, Kathleen Lightsey, Blair Hull, and Denise Musselwhite, for their contributions. The webinar covered some basic tips for parents regarding Canvas, MyTPS Parent Portal, PaySchools and more. If you were not able to join us, you can access the Zoom video recording here. The next TPO webinar is scheduled for September 10 at 10 a.m. and will feature a special “welcome” from our college counselors to the junior class parents. TPS counselors will spend some time discussing the junior college timeline in addition to addressing how and when juniors will be assigned to their college counselors. This is a great opportunity to learn about the resources that are available from college counseling and the expectations they will have of the junior class. Parents will be given the opportunity to submit questions prior to this session so that our college counseling team can address as many of these as possible.
