Eight Trinity Prep choral and strings students were recently selected to participate in the Florida All-State Choirs and Florida All-State Orchestras. Nydia Clifton '21, Sean Leider '18, Roland Spillmann '18, Lilly Langdon '17, Hannah Lindvall '18, Allice Park '16, Lillian Pope '20, and Marion Pope '21 auditioned throughout the months of September and October and were overjoyed to learn of their acceptances this month. The process of auditioning for the opportunity to perform in the Florida All-State Choirs and Orchestras is quite extensive. Choir students went through multiple rounds of tryouts to judge different aspects of their musicianship, such as sight reading, vocal quality, and the ability to sing in their range. The strings students went through one audition and were judged on similar attributes of musicianship in relation to their instruments. The Florida All-State Choirs and All-State Orchestras will perform at the culmination of the Florida Music Educators Association Conference held in Tampa in January. Our Trinity Prep participants will take the stage January 15-16. Congratulations to these students on this outstanding accomplishment!
