On March 29 and 30, the Trinity Prep boys varsity tennis team took first place in the District Championship game. The team faced tough opponents but emerged victorious from the competition after winning all their single and doubles matches.
The team will go on to the Regional Championship as the host team next week. If they are successful, they will advance to the State competition.
The girls varsity team competed in the District Championship competition as well. They played well and took first in doubles. Their overall team score tied with the score of Father Lopez Catholic High School, however, and this means they will need to replay their match before a winner is announced. They'll take on Father Lopez again on Friday, April 1, to declare a winner.
