TRINITY PREP RE-ENROLLMENT CONTRACTS DUE FEB. 9
On Friday, January 26, a letter from Head of School, Byron Lawson Jr., regarding re-enrollment was emailed to all Trinity Prep parents. Families not requesting tuition assistance will find instructions for completing contracts below the signature line of this letter. Contracts are due February 9. Contracts for families requesting tuition assistance will be sent in mid-March.

Spanish Honor Society Awards
Adede Appah-Sampong '19 has won the Bertie Green Junior Travel Award from the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH), an honor society for high school students studying Spanish. It is valued at over $3,000, and is awarded to only 24 students in the nation. This July Adede will travel to Ecuador with the other 23 winners.
Samy Asfoor '18 won the 2016 Joseph Adams Senior Scholarship from the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to only 60 students in the nation. Students become eligible for the awards and scholarships by being inducted members of the SHH and submitting samples of their work in Spanish to a selection committee. Both students created a video presentation in Spanish as part of the submission materials.

2018 CENTRAL FLORIDA WINTER HISTORY BEE AND BOWL AT TPS
Trinity Prep will be hosting the 2018 Central Florida Winter History Bee and Bowl for the first time on Monday, February 19, 2018. This is a qualifying round to enter the Nationals on April in Arlington, VA. There are 21 teams from 9 schools who will be competing in the Junior Varsity (9th & 10th grades) and Varsity (11th & 12th grades) Divisions. Trinity will field 2 teams from the Middle School and 3 teams from the Upper School. The event will take place in the Upper School classrooms and the Rich Library from 8 am until 5:45 pm.
