This past saturday, the Trinity Prep middle school boys tennis team competed at Sanlando Tennis center scored first place, winning the championship for the Greater Orlando Athletic Conference. During their entire season, the team competed and remained undefeated.
"Not only did the team perform well at the end of a long day of tournament play, but represented TPS extremely well with their sportsmanship," Coach Babyak said. "The strength of our team was it's depth - every match I felt we had a good chance win at every seed."
Eighth Grader Michael Gombos won first place in singles, and sixth grader Lachlan Bill won fourth. Bill also teamed up with Eashan Kothari to win the last match of the day over Lake Highland Prep, giving the Saints the championship by one point and finishing off the team's undefeated season.
